Home Inspector Turns Web Developer

I have been the owner of HomeTowne Inspections, in Alpharetta, Georgia, for a few years, but late last year, I turned in my toolbelt for a computer and started developing websites for home inspectors. While I enjoy my experiences as a home inspector, I found that after so many years in marketing and web development, my natural course was to combine the knowledge of both careers into one.  I developed a special website template that is user-friendly and can be inexpensively personalized to meet your marketing needs.

In today’s business world, the website has become as common as the business card.  You would never think of starting a business without a business card. The same is true of a website. The buying public enjoys the convenience of information shopping to support their buying decisions.  Sometimes, a website is a marketing tool, on its own.  Often, it replaces the service shopping that used to be done via telephone.  Websites are more accessible than waiting for a follow-up phone call.

Your own website is more productive for you when marketing your services and capabilities.  Website information is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  Prospective clients can access your website and learn about your skills and training, the services you provide, your rates, and view your contract and sample inspection report, as well as schedule a home inspection.

My company’s website development and hosting is available to InterNACHI members for the low yearly fee of $299. This covers the website development, your web address (www.yourname.com), hosting, and unlimited updates and changes, with no additional options or fees.

When you become a client, we not only build your website and host it, but we'll check your site each day to make sure that it's 100% operational.

One of my clients, Randy Strobridge of Harbor Home Inspection, had this to say about my services:  “I really appreciate the great customer service, and you’ve definitely given Harbor Home Inspection a professional look that puts me on a level playing field with the rest.”
