Attend the 40-hour class you've registered for.
Step #3:
Pass the Virginia State Exam (administered by NHIE: http://homeinspectionexam.org/).
Step #4:
Complete 50 supervised inspections.
Step #5:
Complete a home inspector licensing application.

- a free one-year membership in InterNACHI (for non-members only);
- four printed inspection textbooks (Roof, Plumbing, HVAC & Electrical); and
