InterNACHI® Welcomes Psychometrician Dr. Unber Ahmad

InterNACHI® is pleased to welcome Dr. Unber Ahmad as InterNACHI’s Senior Psychometrician. Dr. Unber holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology and is the Director of Assessments and Lead Psychometrician on the National Board of Certified Counselors.

Dr. Ahmad's responsibilities will be to:

• update, validate, and maintain InterNACHI’s exams, including InterNACHI’s Online Inspector Exam and the Florida Home Inspector Exam, so they remain psychometrically sound, including their validity, reliability, fairness, and defensibility;
• ensure that InterNACHI’s exams adhere to psychometric standards set by relevant organizations, including the Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing by the American Educational Research Association, the American Psychological Association, and the National Council on Measurement in Education;
• update, validate, and maintain the Job Task Analysis (JTA) and Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) of the Certified Home Inspector for the home inspection industry; and
• review and analyze the descriptive performance statistics and item-level statistics of InterNACHI’s exams.
