The course is the combination of the following individual courses that total 90 hours of education.
- 4 hours: InterNACHI’s online Safe Practices for the Home Inspector course (free, take at your own pace);
- 1 hour: InterNACHI's online Ladder Safety Training course (free, take at your own pace);
- 4 hours: InterNACHI’s online How to Perform Roof Inspections course (free, take at your own pace);
- 4 hours: InterNACHI’s online How to Perform Residential Electrical Inspections course (free, take at your own pace);
- 4 hours: InterNACHI’s online Structural Issues for Home Inspectors course (free, take at your own pace);
- 8 hours: InterNACHI’s online Residential Plumbing Overview for Inspectors course (free, take at your own pace);
- 4 hours: InterNACHI's online Inspecting Water Heater Tanks (free, take at your own pace);
- 16 hours: InterNACHI’s online How to Perform Exterior Inspections course (free, take at your own pace);
- 4 hours: InterNACHI's online Inspecting Means of Egress (free, take at your own pace);
- 14 hours: InterNACHI’s online How to Inspect the Attic, Insulation, Ventilation and Interior course (free, take at your own pace);
- 8 hours: InterNACHI's online Appliance Inspection for Home Inspectors course (free, take at your own pace);
- 12 hours: InterNACHI’s online How to Inspect HVAC Systems course (free, take at your own pace);
- 3 hours: InterNACHI’s online How to Perform Deck Inspections course (free, take at your own pace); and
- 4 hours: InterNACHI's online Customer Service and Communication for Inspectors course (free, take at your own pace).
Total: 90 hours
Certificates and Credit
Each course comes with a Certificate of Completion that is immediately downloadable. Every InterNACHI® member has an online Members-Only Online Education Log that records every course and exam that is completed and automatically submits that data to the state for credit.
Final Certificate of Completion:
After completing all of the courses (above), go to your members-only account and click on the "Pre-Licensing" tool to download your final certificate of completion.
