In this class you will learn tips and tricks of the trade from real world use of a thermal imaging camera during various aspects of a building inspection. There will topics on the influence of the environment, both inside and out, and what affect it can have on your infrared camera. You will learn how some items can appear and disappear from your viewer screen and influence of several factors that can cause this to happen. The class will cover the subject of emissivity, reflection, transmission, delta-t and thermal mass and more.... There will be sections on the history of thermography, how to write reports, liability issues and ways to earn various income streams that are within and outside the normal home inspection clientele. Plus, factors to consider when buying an infrared camera and what to look for when selecting the type of training you need based on your plans. It is a fast paced class, with a time for questions and answers during the final session.
