Dominic Maricic founded Home Inspector Pro, which created the first home inspection software to run on many different platforms, making it easier for inspectors to use whatever device they wanted to generate their reports. He has also spent the last decade helping home inspectors learn all about website hosting, social media, and online advertising at conferences across U.S. and Canada.

Jeff Pope

Jeff joined InterNACHI in its infancy back in 2003.  A Certified Master Inspector®, he has helped countless fellow inspectors with his technical advice on the message board, especially on the Emergency Forum, where inspectors need immediate help while on an inspection job.  As an unofficial ambassador of InterNACHI, as well as the inspection profession at large, Jeff has set an excellent example of what an InterNACHI member should be.

Will Decker

Will Decker

Will is a recipient of the Gold Pen Award for excellence in contributions to home inspector education.  He has served on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Home Inspectors Association.  As a Certified Master Inspector®, Will developed several of InterNACHI's online courses in the area of building science.  He is also a former nuclear physicist.

Ben Gromicko has been InterNACHI's Director of Education since the beginning. He is also the Executive Director of NACHI.TV, producing instructional videos for inspectors, typically in the field in real-world situations.  He also conducts webinars for members and non-members alike on a regular basis.

Joe, Certified Master Inspector and Instructor, has been a Home Inspector for over 20 years. Joe assisted in the initial growth and promotion of InterNACHI and has witnessed the organization grow from six founding members to what it is today, with nearly 17,000 members in North America alone.

Marcel Cyr

Marcel Cyr

Certified Master Inspector® Marcel Cyr has helped countless inspectors with his in-depth of knowledge and more than 40 years of experience as a residential and commercial building inspector and supervisor.  He is a five-time recipient of the Gerry Beaumont Education Award, and has served as both Chair and member of the InterNACHI Awards Committee (2016 inclusive).  He initiated InterNACHI's 5-Year and 10-Year Member Designations.  Marcel was voted InterNACHI U.S. Member of the Year in 2009.

Larry Kage

Larry Kage

Larry has been a licensed builder since 1973, and started offering home inspections in the late '70s.  He went on to secure Infrared Level 1 Certification and Infrared Building Sciences Certification.  He is a Certified Master Inspector® and was among the first in the United States to achieve that designation.  Larry has served on InterNACHI's Awards Committee for many years now, and also continues to mentor new inspectors in retirement.  

Gerry Beaumont

Gerry Beaumont

Gerry Beaumont was the Founding Chairman and Director of InterNACHI’s Education Committee. Along with Chris Morrell, he developed InterNACHI’s proprietary online course system, helping to realize the organization’s primary goal of providing quality online training for home inspectors, which set a new standard for the industry. As a Certified Master Inspector®, he authored several of InterNACHI’s very first Continuing Education courses. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Gerry helped spearhead training efforts for inspectors who would deploy to the Gulf Coast region to assess damage and perform insurance inspections.  A native of Great Britain who immigrated to the U.S. in 1995, Gerry passed away unexpectedly in 2010 at his home in Florida, just short of his 50th birthday.  The Gerry Beaumont Education Award, given to members who successfully complete at least 50 CEUs in a year, is named in his honor.

Dan is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Inspection Support Network (ISN), found online at www.inspectionsupport.net. With more than 25 years of experience in the real estate and inspection industries, Dan’s former inspection company was the largest in Nevada before he sold it to devote all his time to the ISN and help inspectors around the world.  A popular, in-demand speaker at inspector events, Dan is devoted to assisting his colleagues at all stages of development in their inspection businesses.

Steven Rinehart

In addition to Steven’s numerous inspector certifications, he’s also a licensed electrician, and serves on multiple professional boards and committees as member and Chair.  Among them are the TREC Advisory Committee, the ICC Energy Exam Development Committee, his local ICC “Bluebonnet” Chapter, and the Central Texas Home Builders Association.  Steve also earned the ICC & IMT 2015 Standard Bearers Award for Excellence in Energy Code Compliance as an Individual Energy Code Leader, and has been voted the Best Home Inspector in Central Texas for the last nine years in a readers’ poll.

Dan is a Certified Master Inspector® who has helped countless inspectors and donated dozens of books to the InterNACHI Inspection Library.  He started performing home inspections in 1975, and was one of the first two home inspectors located between St. Louis and Denver. Among his numerous professional licenses and certifications, Dan is a nationally approved inspection trainer and, and at various times, served as the Education Director for all three of the local home inspection associations' chapters. Dan was voted InterNACHI's U.S. Home Inspector of the Year in 2010.

Kenton Shepard

Kenton Shepard

After spending over 30 years in residential and light commercial construction as a carpenter and contractor, Kenton became a home inspector in 2001 and an InterNACHI member in 2004. He is the author of three English-Spanish construction phrasebooks (published by the NAHB), as well as numerous articles and online and video courses for InterNACHI, including its Green Building Inspection and Log Home Inspection courses, along with several residential roof inspection video courses. He is also the author of InterNACHI's Library of Inspection Narratives, a set of home inspection field guides, and a report-writing guide (available through Inspector Outlet and www.hinarratives.com).  A Certified Master Inspector®, Kenton serves as InterNACHI's Director of Green Building and Director of International Development, and is the designer and builder of InterNACHI’s House of Horrors.

Joe Farsetta is a Certified Master Inspector® and chairs InterNACHI's Code of Ethics Committee.  He has a robust background in construction practices and commercial inspections. He has directed large teams of professionals and been responsible for multimillion-dollar contract negotiations for enterprise-class companies throughout the United States. He is also a licensed but non-practicing real estate professional. An inventor, published author, and seasoned businessman, Joe operates a home inspection business in New York.

Paul is the Founder and President of TPREIA, the Texas Professional Real Estate Inspectors Association. He has dedicated untold hours to helping make the home inspection industry a respected profession. Paul has spent his career training, teaching, sharing, challenging and supporting inspectors, as well as promoting the successful alliance between TPREIA and InterNACHI in the great State of Texas. TPREIA often partners with InterNACHI to host industry events, such as the 2016 Annual Inspectors Convention being held at the Brazos County Expo Center in October.

Brenda is a founding member, Executive Administrator, and President-Elect of TPREIA, the Texas Professional Real Estate Inspectors Association. She has worked tirelessly for many years to promote TPREIA's goals, which are to enhance consumer protection and increase public awareness of the inspection industry.  TPREIA provides leadership through professional education and training, and helps inspectors maintain the highest technical and ethical standards.

Russell Spriggs

Russell joined InterNACHI in 2003, when it was still headquartered in Pennsylvania. He organized its Colorado members to stand their ground when another inspector society was trying to force the state to recognize only that group as lawful inspectors. Nick Gromicko promptly flew to Colorado, quashed that movement in its infancy, and dubbed Russell President of the Colorado Chapter.  While InterNACHI was in the process of relocating its headquarters to Colorado, Russ moved to Idaho and founded the Idaho Chapter.  Soon after, he and his wife, Jeanne Considine, became one of the nation's first Certified Master Inspector® teams (www.cdainspectors.com). Today, they continue to operate their inspection business while managing their organic farm, and its greenhouses, raised beds, honeybees, chickens, and Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats.

A dedicated, hands-on professional, John is the owner of the multi-inspector firm Honor Construction Inspection Services of Florida.  He has been working in the inspection industry continuously for nearly two decades. He is a Certified Master Inspector®, a Florida-licensed home inspector (#21), a licensed mold assessor (#MRSA1544), and an active licensed Certified Residential Contractor (#CRC1330745). John's first-hand knowledge of the inspection industry is incomparable, and he regularly shares it with inspectors and business owners both on the InterNACHI message board and at national events, where he is often a featured speaker.

For nearly two decades, Michelle has brought her unique perspective to the real estate and inspection industries. She is a platform specialist at ISN – the Inspection Support Network – where she helps train and mentor ISN users. She is also the co-owner of the multi-inspector firm Honor Construction Inspection Services of Melbourne, Florida.  By integrating technologies with ISN, her business has secured a major market share for the past several years. Many in the industry know Michelle for her personable nature and in-depth knowledge. She speaks at several national conferences each year, sharing her expertise about the power of ISN, and what it takes to create and maintain a successful business.

James Gonte

James Gonte

James is a Florida-licensed home inspector, radon tester, and mold assessor who has been inspecting properties since 1992.  He is the Co-Founder of the Inspector Brotherhood, a Facebook group founded in 2016, whose motto is: "Respect Your License." The group offers a free mentoring program and specializes in hands-on training. James is also a former Board Member of the Florida Association of Building Inspectors. He has mentored dozens of inspectors and provided them with ride-alongs at no charge.

John McKenna

A member of InterNACHI since 2006 and a Certified Master Inspector®, John serves on the Master Inspector Certification Board (MICB) and is InterNACHI’s Infrared-Certified® Instructor.  He owns an Infrared-Certified® training school, and is a TREC-approved instructor. As a certified FLIR-ITC and Building Science and Level II-Certified Thermographer, John also produces educational webinars and podcasts.  His expertise in the area of thermal imaging in the home inspection industry is unmatched.  He has also contributed many historical thermal imaging documents and artifacts to InterNACHI’s Inspector Museum.

A Certified Master Inspector®, Dale has been an InterNACHI member since 2005, and was voted Member of the Year in 2007.  He is an Infraspection-Certified Thermographer, and founded the National Association of Commercial Building Inspectors & Thermographers™.  Dale now inspects commercial buildings throughout the United States and South America.

George Wells

George Wells

George is a business coach, author, and inspection software publisher. He is the founder of the founder Best Inspectors Network (BestInspectors.Net) and has been doing both home and commercial inspections for decades. He has been doing skilled trades training, construction consulting, project management consulting, and construction dispute resolution for many years.

George has a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and has been a licensed electrical contractor since 1981. He also has a master's degree in business administration. He is a Certified Master Inspector, Certified Professional Inspector, and a Certified Fee Inspector. George is an Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board approved instructor for five skilled trades, technology, and business. He is a Michigan Department of Construction Codes approved instructor for three skilled trades, and a New York State approved instructor for home inspection and business.

George is an instructor for the International Association of Certified Home inspectors (InterNACHI), Management Science Institute, Inspection Time Training, and Merrrell Institute, and is on the Master Inspector Certification Board’s advisory board.
