Northampton Community College Offers Home Inspection Course
(Bethlehem, PA) October 22, 2002 – The Center for Business & Industry (CBI) at Northampton Community College has added a new Home Inspection course to its spring 2003 Community Education curriculum.
This course, developed with the assistance of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), is designed to prepare students for InterNACHI's Online Inspector Examination. Passing this exam permits membership in InterNACHI. Membership in a national inspection association is a Pennsylvania state requirement for all home inspectors.
The course will include exterior, interior, roof, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical inspection practices including mock inspection field trips. Near the end of the course students will take InterNACHI's Online Inspector Examination. Upon successful completion of this InterNACHI accredited course, students will be awarded 6.0 CEUs (Continuing Education Units).
The sixty hour course will run from January 22, 2003 to April 7, 2003 and will meet Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30-9:30PM.
