How to Become a Licensed Home Inspector in New Hampshire
80-Hour Licensing Course (online & free for members):
To become a licensed home inspector in New Hampshire, an individual must:
complete 80 hours of training approved by the New Hampshire Board of Home Inspectors. InterNACHI's free, online 80-hour course is approved by New Hampshire (view NH approval); and
pass the state examination (scheduled through the state website).

Inspector Continuing Education (online and free for members):
Each licensee shall obtain at least 20 continuing education hours of approved continuing education courses during the biennial renewal period as a condition of license renewal. All of InterNACHI's courses meet the State of New Hampshire's administrative rules for continuing education.
Radon Tester Certification in New Hampshire (online & free for members):
The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) requires certification of Airborne Radon Mitigation Installers through either the AARST-NRPP or NRSB. Visit the New Hampshire website for details.
New Hampshire-licensed real estate agents can attain free Continuing Education credits by following the directions on the real estate cards. Members can hand out these cards to real estate agents, which explain how to log into the free courses.
