New Mexico requires that home inspectors complete 80 hours of classroom or online instruction provided by an accredited post-secondary institution that includes topics of this law, safety, and report writing. This can be completed by taking InterNACHI's free, online 85-Hour Pre-licensing Course. InterNACHI® School (internachi.edu) is an accredited post-secondary education institution accredited by the national accrediting agency of the U.S. Department of Education. And our free, online home inspector pre-licensing course is approved by the State of New Mexico. Everything a licensed home inspector in New Mexico needs, all in one place.
InterNACHI's pre-licensing course for New Mexico is free and online for InterNACHI members. The pre-licensing course includes the following course components.
Members can track their progress through the New Mexico-approved Home Inspector Pre-Licensing Course by logging into their online dashboard.
