SB 66 (BR 1250) - T. Buford
AN ACT relating to the Kentucky Board of Home Inspectors.
Amend KRS 198B.704 to provide that one member of the Kentucky Board of Home
Inspectors shall be a member of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors;
reduce the number of members who are either at-large members or the owners or
managers of home inspection companies from two to one; increase the number of
members of the selection committee from six to eight.
SB 66 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Delete original provisions requiring one person to be a member of
the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors and one person to be either
an at-large licensed home inspector, or an owner, or manager of a home inspection
company; amend KRS 198B.704 to delete appointments of one person from the American
Society of Home Inspectors, one person from the Kentucky Real Estate Inspectors
Association, and one person from the National Association of Home Inspectors;
retain provisions from the original bill that members be selected from a list
of fifteen names submitted to the Governor by a selection committee; increase
membership of selection committee from six to eight members by adding two members
from the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors.
