One day on Nick Gromicko's Facebook page, InterNACHI® member Ron Reynolds asked Nick if he could pick his brain about how to become a successful home inspector. Nick offered to provide him with a full Inspector Makeover to show the many services and membership benefits that InterNACHI® has to offer.

Name: Ron Reynolds
Business: Reynolds Inspections in Port Angeles, Washington
Professional Bio
Ron is a third-generation builder and has been in the construction industry since the age of 13. Ron has worked while on the Bering Sea, managed a houseboat marina, and worked in a sawmill and a paper mill. But the majority of his career has been in construction.
Inspection Background
Ron has been an InterNACHI® member since December 2016. He completed his initial classroom licensing and field training with an InterNACHI® School Partner in Washington. He's completed 160 hours of InterNACHI® online Continuing Education courses, is a Certified Professional Inspector®, and recently attained a license as a Structural Pest Inspector.
Ron has been in business for one year and has completed about 25 inspections as of August 2018. He's still working as a general contractor, but he's in the process of closing that business to become a full-time home inspector. He is a one-man operation, and his goal is to become a one-stop shop for all his prospects and clients by offering many ancillary inspection services.
Prior to the Inspector Makeover, Ron had InterNACHI's Member Marketing Team design his logo and business cards. He did not have any other marketing materials, or any company-branded apparel. Ron also purchased the domain name ReynoldsInspectionsllc.com and built his own website, which he learned how to do by watching NACHI.TV's Online Training Class. However, he did not have any social media business pages. He was also using EZ Home Inspection Software and performing his inspections using pen and paper and a limited number of inspection tools.
