HouseMaster Chooses HomeGauge Software

announces a partnership with
HouseMaster, the leading, and oldest, home inspection franchise system. HouseMaster decided on HomeGauge after an intensive evaluation of all available software tools for home inspectors. “One of the world’s leading home inspection franchise systems and the most experienced name in home inspections has selected HomeGauge to provide report generation software to their franchisees and their inspectors,” continued HouseMaster’s Kathleen Kuhn.
“Our software will help HouseMaster franchisees become even more efficient in service to their customers,” said HomeGauge president, Russell Buchanan. “HouseMaster’s over 380 offices will be a significant addition to the HomeGauge customer base, and will strengthen both companies,” continued Russell.
HomeGauge also announces the immediate release of HomeGauge software, version 3.1. This release of HomeGauge has added major enhancements requested by their users.
“Integration with QuickBooks tm provides office efficiencies to the typical HomeGauge inspector, managing a small business from his home,” said Russell Buchanan, President of HomeGauge. “Time is an inspector’s most valuable commodity. If we can free more time for the actual inspection, then a more thorough job can be accomplished and the inspector can increase his revenue by completing more inspections.”
Picture editing has been significantly enhanced to provide the clearest representation of issues discovered during an inspection. Brightness and contrast can be adjusted along with many other enhancements to delineate problem areas.
There are now triple the number of Templates available, customized for different inspection situations, such as New Construction, Condominiums, Multiplex, Commercial and Narrative. HomeGauge inspectors can now expand their customer base beyond traditional home inspections, and therefore increase profitability.
