Thousands of Inspection Defects Are Being Shared by Inspectors
Thousands of inspection images of HVAC system defects are being shared by home inspectors on the InterNACHI Inspection Forum.
The
image above is a duct blaster fan set up to pressurize a home's duct
system. The ducts did not meet the local building code limit of 6% air
leakage.
A fog machine was used to find the air leakage in the ducts and to seal them up with mastic.
