Thermal Heat Bridge

Thermal bridging is the movement of heat across a relatively small area of wall, floor or roof that is more conductive than the materials surrounding it. The conductive material creates a path of least resistance or "bridge" for heat. Thermal bridging can lead to multiple issues, the most common being a major source of energy loss in homes and buildings, leading to higher utility bills.
