WIND MITIGATION INSPECTION In this three-hour section, students will learn about enhancing a home’s wind mitigation features according to the Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB) standards, and how to complete the Office of Insurance Regulation’s Uniform Mitigation Verification Inspection Form (#OIR-B1-1802).
4-POINT INSPECTION This training will cover the four major systems of the home: the electrical, HVAC, roof covering, and plumbing. Students will learn how to identify deficiencies and safety issues, and how to document their findings using the latest 4-Point and Roof Certification Inspection forms.
ROOF SHINGLE INSTALLATION INSPECTION This class will cover how to safely and properly inspect a roof’s shingle installation and flashing based on the methods recommended by the Florida Building Code (FBC) and the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA).
ADVANCED ROOF INSPECTION This six-hour section will discuss how to safely and properly inspect a roof based on the installation methods recommended by the Florida Building Code (FBC) and the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA).
