New IAQ Inspector Training As A Result Of EPA Contract

Subsidy of $200 for January 18th & 19th & February 15th & 16th Classes
(Registrations must be received by January 15th, 2006)
 
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded a contract to the Environmental Education Foundation (EEF) to form a coalition of major players in the building design/construction and property management industry, including insurance and financial institutions. The purpose of the contract according to David Mudarri, Ph.D., Indoor Environments Division of the Environmental Protection Agency, "[is] to promote EPA's indoor air quality guidance and encourage its use as the basis for managing indoor environmental quality risks."

EEF is proud to announce the completion of this contract and the availability of the related training program. Building on the success of their water intrusion and mold management program, the EEF has integrated EPA's IAQ Building Education and Assessment Model (I-BEAM) software into the program.

Approved for CEUs for professionals ranging from building and home inspectors to CIHs and Safety Professionals to Property Managers, Environmental Consultants Building Inspectors.

Date: January 18th & 19th

This class is taught from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on two consecutive days. 

O&M Plan Development This intensive 6 to 8 hour class presented over two consecutive days is an interactive, instructor-led program designed to give you an overview of the major environmental, health, and safety issues relating to general industry as well as cover the overall consequences of water intrusion and moisture on mold, mold growth, and related insurance claims

  • Health Effects
  • Water intrusion and early response
  • Preventative measures
  • "Standard of Care"
  • Comprehensive Risk Reduction


Each participant will also receive one year of updates as well the 200+ page course book COMPLETE with a customizable Operations and Maintenance (O&M) plan and a copy of the EPA endorsed I-BEAM software.

This training is a must for any individuals seeking more information on the environmental, health, and safety effects related to IAQ, mold and water intrusion.
