On September 14th the South Carolina Upstate Chapter had its 2nd Chapter Meeting at Tipsy Taco in Greenville.
During the meeting we welcomed new members and discussed plans for future meetings, locations and topics.
Once again we discussed our industry and had the opportunity to talk shop with others who understand home inspection. Unfortunately we realized that holding a meeting at Tipsy Taco did not give us a quiet area where everyone could be involved in all conversations due to the noise/music inside and the reeving of Harleys going up and down Woodruff Rd near the outside patio.
At our next meeting in October we have located a facility that will allow us to meet in a quiet area and we have two sponsors that will be providing food to attendees. Save the date for October 27th at 7pm. The chapter is growing weekly and we look forward to welcoming new members.
On June 15th the South Carolina Upstate Chapter had the 1st Chapter Meeting at Tipsy Taco in Greenville.
All in attendance agreed that a professional chapter in this area has been long overdue.
Attendees spent time meeting each other and discussing a vision for the chapter. It was great to talk shop with others who understand home inspection.
It was suggested that we meet at least every 2 months or once a quarter. We hope to gain more members in the coming months, growing the chapter to a point where we can advance and advocate as one influential body. Look out for news on our next event in August.
