This meeting we will have James Farley from Elite Inspections of Georgia. James will be showing us about radon remediation, what is involved. and how to communicate to the clients who might need this service.
James Fraley is a Certified Radon Professional and owner of Elite Radon Team. After obtaining a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering he solved some of the Department of Defense’s most complex problems. Although he enjoyed the work, he found that he was always traveling. So he started conducting consulting work from his home. He and his family purchased a new home and James realized he knew more about the home than the home inspector. Wasn’t long after that they he was doing home inspections which led to mold testing, radon testing, and ultimately radon mitigation. Applying his engineering skills, it did not take long for James to go from being the newbie to being the guy folks called when no one else could fix the problem. Today Elite has radon and vapor intrusion contracts in TN, SC, NC, & GA. He is Vice President of Southeast AARST and sits on the committee that sets the standards for radon mitigation in the USA.
If we have time we will also be starting a training on Plumbing Inspection 101 taught by Jim Brown chapter president.
