NACHI's Northern Illinois Chapter will be holding it's first monthly meeting in partnership with the Illinois Association of Home Inspectors. These meetings are able to be attended both live/in-person and live via Google Meet.
Our home inspection act has changed January 1, 2022. The IAHI is now discussing the changes to the rules that govern us. We still have to follow the existing laws and rules. This class will class will discuss in detail the laws and rules as they exist the day of the class. We will share some disciplines that were handed down and share some other issues that have happened to our licensees and how we, as a group, have helped licensees dealing with the IDFPR. It is my goal that you will take away items that will reduce the risk of discipline from the IDFPR. This class is going to be held simultaneously live/in-person and webinar. This registration is for the live/in-person event in Niles, IL
Our speaker, Charlie Bellefontaine, will go through the law and rules. We will talk about the our desires about updates to the Rule changes in Illinois. Dinner will be served at the V.F.W. Post in Niles for all in-person attendees. These classes are intended to raise funds for our operations and lobbying funds. Donations to the lobbying fund can be made here. The V.F.W. hall has a max occupancy of 50 people. The Google Meet session is unlimited. This class will be streamed and everyone will be in the same session.
