Article 1: Purpose of the Program
The InterNACHI® Member of the Year program honors an InterNACHI® member for their exemplary contributions to the inspection profession and the general public from January 1st through August 10th. Nominations received after August 10th may be moved into the following year.
Article 2: Program Overview and Eligibility Criteria
This prestigious award honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional service and dedication by enhancing the service, quality, and public image of InterNACHI® and the home inspection industry, exemplifying professionalism and commitment to superior consumer service, providing guidance and support to new members, and making meaningful contributions to their local community while upholding InterNACHI®’ values.
Article 3: Selection and Awarding Authority
The InterNACHI® Awards Committee is solely responsible for the evaluation and selection process. Their decisions regarding the issuance of this and any other awards offered are final.
Eligibility for Nomination
Self-nominations and campaigning are strictly prohibited. Any such actions may result in the nominee being disqualified.
Nomination Process
Nominations must include substantial supporting documentation demonstrating the nominee’s qualifications and contributions.
If the documentation is deemed insufficient, the Awards Committee may request additional information, verification, or clarification. If requirements are not met, nominations may also be rejected outright.
Voting and Selection
Voting eligibility is limited to active forum members. To be considered active, members must have logged at least 12 visits over a span of three months. Additionally, active participation includes posting and engaging in discussions with other members.
