Greetings and Welcome
to
the Heartlands Regional Chapter of InterNACHI
(Serving Missouri and Kansas)
Home Inspectors in Kansas and Missouri are in a diverse and widely varying inspection market, in states where there are no state wide licensing requirements for home builders, remodelers, or tradesmen like plumbers, electricians, roofers, or hvac contractors, etc. There is no state wide mandatory building codes NOR code inspections in 2/3rd of the counties in either state. Because of this lack of regulation of the people building, repairing, remodeling or rehabbing homes in these 2 states, it would be foolish to regulate the home inspection industry at this time.
The Heartlands Regional Chapter of InterNACHI exists to support inspectors and promote the profession in our respective states. We meet to improve our technical skills and learn about operating a successful home inspection business. We have special guests, speakers or trainers join us at each meeting to make special presentations to benefit our businesses. All InterNACHI members attending are eligible for 6-7 hrs. of Continuing Education Credit for the meetings.
This is an important issue due to the fact that in order to comply with InterNACHI membership requirement, as a certified property inspector, all members must complete 24 CE's each year.
