I'd like to quickly highlight what this particular email will cover as we are nearing the end of the year:
November guest speaker
Our guest speaker(s) for this meeting will be Caroline Harrison with ASR Pool. After an unforeseen scheduling snafu last month, Caroline will educate us on a current problematic issue in Real Estate known as "concrete cancer", a common term for a process called “alkali-silica reaction” (ASR). If you're not familiar with this issue, here is some background. If you inspect pools or have considered pool inspection services, this is a must-attend meeting!
New board member selections
As we near the end of the year and prepare for our December chapter Christmas get together, we will be nominating / voting / securing next year's board members for next year. Our current board is as follows:
I want to share some information regarding the election of new board members. Serving on our board is a rewarding experience, and we invite both seasoned board members and first-time participants to consider running for a position.
For those of you who are currently serving and wish to continue, we truly value your ongoing commitment and expertise, and we encourage you to remain involved. At the same time, we would also like to highlight the opportunity for any members who have not yet served on the board to take on a role. Fresh perspectives and diverse ideas are key to our chapter’s growth, and we welcome new faces to step up and make an impact.
Benefits of Board Membership:
If you’re interested in serving on the board or continuing your current role, please feel free to reach out or, at a minimum, attend the upcoming November meeting. We are looking forward to an exciting year ahead with enthusiastic and dedicated leaders to guide us forward!
