AlbertaACHI's Home Inspection Demo will cover such things:
1. Report Writing - You will participate in a home inspection demonstration and learn to follow a "Standards of Practice" for properly inspecting a property. You will learn various methods to observe conditions, how to document them, and how to report them accurately.
2. Onsite inspection techniques and best practices, do's and don't when inspecting
3. Q&A
We will also be having at the Demo Home Inspection Danny Paiement from Pro Drain Techs, Danny will be showing us how they do a sewer scope and the things to look out for, the advantages to using Pro Drain Techs for your sewer scopes. Pro Drain Techs is a family run business in the Edmonton and area that uses the latest and greatest equipment to help home owners have the piece of mind that their sewer pipes are functioning properly.
We also recommend if you have a thermal graphic camera to bring it along, Fritz Kamprath will be bringing an older German Thermal camera the TESTO 885 that maybe interesting to see how it compares to the new technology.
This is an excellent opportunity for new inspectors as well as a great refresher for experienced inspectors looking for better ways of conducting inspections as we all learn from each other and share our experiences.
Home Inspection Demonstration at a home to be selected prior to the demonstration date. We will gather a meeting room for a brief time to review the planned activities and make our way to the home for on-site training.
