Discussion what should the direction, or long term plan be for Alberta ACHI?

• Should Alberta ACHI be duplicating services provided by Internachi and others?

• Should Alberta ACHI try to maintain its own web site, or use the internachi provided chapter site?

• Should the bylaws be amended to require members with voting privileges to have an active home inspection license issued by Service Alberta?

Only CMI's that have attended this course will be certified to do AlbertaACHI's peer reviews.

This course will start immediately after the AGM.

All members of the exec must attend this course.
There will be a meeting of the chapter executive following the Peer review course.

Proposed Change to Association Bylaws

15. BYLAWS
15.1 The Bylaws may be rescinded, altered or added to by a "Special Resolution".
It is proposed to revise Article 17 by adding an appeal procedure under Section 17
Proposed Revision of Current Bylaws

Whereas an appeal process is required by the Societies Act.

Therefore be it resolved that the following clauses be added;

Article 17.4 Appeal Process
17.4.1 An individual has the right of appeal against the disciplinary action. This appeal must be lodged in writing with the executive committee of the Board of Directors.
17.4.2 Three members of the Executive shall
constitute the Disciplinary Appeal Board.
