The Building Performance Contractor's Association of New York State invites you to attend this afternoon Workshop and our sixth informational meeting of 2005. Anyone interested in Building Performance, Home Energy Ratings, Solar Electric Systems, HVAC, Air-Sealing and Insulation, Healthy Homes and Indoor Air Quality, or any combination of the above, should attend this meeting. If you can't attend, BPCA/NYS holds other similar monthly Regional Forums throughout New York State.

New York State offers several market-based initiatives that are designed to help contractors become more profitable in providing new and ever-evolving energy efficiency and building performance services to the residential marketplace. We are here to assist you in learning more about these existing programs, as well as other educational and business opportunities. This meeting will give you a forum to offer ideas and to present feedback to NYSERDA, LIPA and the program implementers of Home Performance with ENERGY STAR and the New York ENERGY STAR Labeled Homes Programs.

BPCA/NYS will also help you get answers to any questions on your own projects, existing and upcoming NYS programs and other business opportunities. BPCA is here to assist you in training for new and better business practices, sourcing for new tools, building and energy efficiency practices and any other needs that may affect you, as a tradesperson in the building performance contracting industry.

Please attend our afternoon 4-hour Workshop and stay on for our Dinner Forum. This Dinner Forum will be a 4-hour meeting AND a Discussion Period will follow with Q & A.
You have the opportunity to earn a total of 6 Continuing Educational Credits, if you attend both afternoon and evening sessions and get a 50% reimbursement for the cost of the Afternoon Workshop from LIPA.
