InterNACHI School Advisory Council: Members and Meetings

The Council meets regularly to review the adequacy of the institution’s educational program objectives, its curriculum, and its course materials in light of both the Home Inspector Job Task Analysis and the Outcomes Assessment.

 

Advisory Council is comprised of InterNACHI members who currently work in the field as home inspectors. There is also some InterNACHI staff on the Council who provide administrative duties and oversight (CAO and Education Team Manager). 

Council members are subject matter experts, home inspectors, certified or licensed professionals.  Because the members of the Council are home inspectors in the field, their review confirms that the curriculum is valid.  The Advisory Council members are not employed by InterNACHI.  They have no authority at InterNACHI and the InterNACHI School.  

InterNACHI's COO and has the responsibility to determine that members and school students are regularly and consistently achieving the program objectives by utilizing the Advisory Council's advice and recommendations, the Home Inspector Job Task Analysis, and the Outcomes Assessment. The COO and Education Team Leader will review and revise the program objectives as they deem it to be necessary.
