Skyetec has again approached InterNACHI to see if our members are willing to do some
insurance inspection work resulting from Hurricane Katrina in the North Gulf last
year.
We are expecting around 2,000 inspections to result from this and that they will
come in at the rate of up to 100 per week.
These are for the most part single item claims that need some verification (for
example roof material, area, and pitch, or square ft of ceiling damage) Skyetec
on behalf of the insurer are paying between $35 and $40 per inspection. These
will all be in your local areas.
Skyetec will be running several 1/2 day training courses in the area to explain
the systems employed by them for reporting. All reporting is done over the Internet.
We urgently need inspectors in the following areas:
Jackson MS - 2
Hattiesburg MS - 2
Gulfport MS - 4
Lake Charles LA - 2
Lafayette LA -2
Baton Rouge LA - 6
Slidell LA - 6
