In recent years InterNACHI has evolved from merely a "home" inspector organization into a global trade association providing information, standards, marketing, and education for a large variety of inspection services including commercial properties, green features, indoor air quality, lead, log homes, annual inspections, meth testing, mold new construction, swimming pools, Move In Certified, thermal imaging, water quality, fire doors, wdo, stucco/eifs, etc. The new domain reflects InterNACHI's continued efforts to down play "home inspector" in its direct-to-consumer marketing.
The new domain prevents InterNACHI members from being accidentally indexed by search engines as merely home inspectors. For our member's search engine optimization purposes, there is simply no better URL.
Inspector.org will soon point to InterNACHI's new, video-rich, consumer/agent-targeted website.
The new heavy-weight, premium domain name reflects InterNACHI's status as the world's largest inspection-related organization.
