Infrared Inspections for Home & Building Inspectors is a 16 hour theory and application course for the use of thermal imaging for
residential and commercial properties. Designed specifically for home and building
inspectors, students are taught how to locate deficiencies in building envelopes,
insulated roofs, and building subsystems.
Taught by highly experienced Level III instructors, this course provides in-depth
and practical instruction for thermographically detecting hidden problems in electrical
systems, HVAC systems, roofs, and building sidewalls. It also covers how to successfully
market, price, and sell infrared inspection services. Students are welcome to
bring their own imager for individualized training or to learn how to use it more
effectively.
Course completion may be applied to training requirements for thermographer certification
through Infraspection Institute and free Infrared Certified professional designation through InterNational Association of Certified Home Inspectors.
Course is also approved by InterNACHI for 16 hours of continuing education.
