The California Association of REALTORS® (CAR) has clarified its position that it does not endorse any specific inspection association. When marketing your services to Realtors®, you should also tell them about InterNACHI’s free Negligent-Referral Protection for real estate agents. For more information click here.
The marketing cards provide simple instructions for California real estate agents to take free, online Continuing Education courses to help renew their real estate licenses.
Home inspectors can give these cards to real estate agents as part of a marketing and networking strategy. When an agent enters the InterNACHI® member's ID #, the member is automatically notified by email, and the first page of the online course displays the member's contact information.
According to California regulations, no person may provide radon services for the general public, or represent or advertise that he or she may provide radon services unless that person successfully completes a National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) or National Radon Safety Board (NRSB) certification program. And persons certified to provide radon services must complete a National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) certification program every two years after initial certification. For details, visit California's website. InterNACHI's free, online Radon Measurement Service Provider Course is approved by NRPP, AARST, NRSB, ICC and IAC2.
